Revealed: Breakthrough for Tottenham to sign Juventus defender Bremer

According to Football Insider, Tottenham are becoming more confident that a deal for Juventus defender Bremer may be reached.

The Allianz Stadium’s Financial Fair Play issues could pave the way for Spurs to sign the 26-year-old.The Italian club paid roughly £43 million to sign the centre-back from Torino last summer and are reported to be looking to recoup their investment.

While Juventus is keen to keep the Brazilian, their financial predicament may necessitate some haggling, which Spurs see as an opportunity to close a deal for Bremer.

Football Insider stated on Monday (10 July) that the Lilywhites are mulling a move for the defender, whose current deal runs until 2027.

Bremer is a top target for Ange Postecoglou, who is looking for two new centre-backs in the coming months.

The Brazilian international has long been a target for the London club, and they were interested in a deal before he joined Juventus last summer.

Bremer is considered as a realistic prospect who checks a number of boxes by Postecoglou, who is looking to add a left-sided centre-back to his squad.
