Nottingham Forest electrifying striker is seriously in talks to switch agents as three club interested

Brennan Johnson of Nottingham Forest is in talks to change agents ahead of the 2023/24 Premier League season. With the transfer market now open, Brentford, Aston Villa, and West Ham are all interested in the forward.

Villa’s involvement is quite fresh. According to the Daily Mail, Unai Emery is now interested in signing Johnson to Unique Sports Group before the start of the domestic season.

Transfermarkt claims that Johnson is presently represented by Footwork. At this point, it’s unclear why the Forest man is eager to switch representation.

The Reds attacker has completed his first Premier League season. Throughout the 2022/23 season, he scored 10 goals and assisted on three others.

Johnson made his debut for the Forest during the promotion-winning 2021/22 season. He scored 19 goals and had nine assists for the Reds as they won the play-offs.

Despite widespread interest, Forest will hope to keep Johnson. Brentford are unlikely to pay the asking price of £60 million, but with Villa and West Ham also in Europe, they could offer appealing alternatives.

Forest star Johnson is in discussions to change agents.

This may be an intriguing situation for Johnson. He will almost certainly want to continue at Forest and help them build on their recent successes.

Johnson is unlikely to be purchased. If he has another successful season with the Reds next season, the club believes his worth will skyrocket.

Johnson, who is 22 years old, is still perfecting his craft, and Forest is the best environment for him to do it. Furthermore, Steve Cooper is a manager under whom he has definitely prospered.

A new agency might assist Johnson in negotiating new agreements with Forest. It’s reasonable to assume that after the last two seasons, he deserves more money as the team attempts to retain him.
