Leicester City in serious battle with four PL two clubs in combat for the midfielder Aston Villa exit

According to the Daily Mail, Leicester City and Wolves are interested in free agency midfielder Arjan Raikhy, but Salford City, Doncaster Rovers, Morecambe and Barrow have also made bids for the 20-year-old.

Leicester City and Wolves were both connected with Raikhy last month, and his departure from Aston Villa has now been confirmed. He departed the club without making a senior debut, however he gained vital experience on loan at Stockport County and Grimsby Town during the 2021/22 season.

A recent story from the Daily Mail provides an update on Raikhy’s status.

They claim that, while the Foxes and Wolves remain interested, there is stiff competition from four League Two clubs.

Salford City, Doncaster Rovers, Morecambe and Barrow have also made proposals for the teenager. It remains to be seen where Raikhy ends up, but it is safe to say that as he hits free agency, he will have plenty of possibilities.

With plenty of interest from a variety of clubs, it will be intriguing to see where Raikhy ends up this summer.

A move to Leicester City would keep him at a high level and keep him near to where he has been playing in Aston Villa’s youth system. They’re also ready to give young players game experience, so he might join academy graduates Kieran Dewsbury-Hall and Luke Thomas in the starting XI.

A transfer to League Two, on the other hand, would almost certainly provide Raiky with greater game time. The young midfielder’s senior opportunities have been limited, and a chance to play regular first-team games might do wonders for his development. With Leicester interested, it would be more of a risk, therefore only time will tell where the gifted central midfielder will end up.
