Yesterday, Nottingham Forest defeated Aston Villa, shocking Geoff Shreeves. The Reds’ crucial victory in the Premier League was secured by goals from Ola Aina and Orel Mangala.
Shreeves ended a long-standing relationship with Sky Sports by leaving the broadcasters in the summer. Nonetheless, he is a well-known figure in football broadcasting and is currently employed by a few US networks.

It was an amazing performance, fantastic! I don’t think many people outside of Forest supporters would have attended that game.
Forest needs to outperform Aston Villa.
This performance gives the Reds a lot of hope. From the standpoint of a fan, it was entertaining to watch, and for Steve Cooper, it was a timely performance.
It’s all about maintaining this performance level now. Shreeves is correct when he says that nobody expected Forest to win, but that’s also one of the reasons the Premier League is regarded as the greatest in the world.
Shreeves is missed on Sky, and he has expressed gratitude for Forest in the past. In the upcoming weeks, hopefully, the team can continue to produce good results and garner more recognition.
