This week, we’re taking another look at additional players from the 1970s and 1980s who were on pub and club teams.
We have images from snooker, pool, darts, dominoes, and skittles leagues in the north of Northamptonshire.

But I got into the balls in the second frame. I was all red, all black, all red. I knocked the black in when I reached about 45. The referee then calls, “Mark Lawrenson, foul shot, seven.” My cuff had touched a ball, he said.
I was devastated. I assumed I would get at least 70 or 80 breaks on television, if not 100. It was a frame that I won. However, I asked the referee, “What was that about?” “I thought I’d try and give Lawrenson a chance because I thought you were running away with it,” he said. You’ve got to be kidding, I think.
“They had a referee and a bit of a crowd,” recalled Lineker, who felt he was robbed during the match, despite winning easily. “The first frame was a bit scruffy. I won it easily, I was always going to win.
