Nottingham Forest performer Anthony Elanga has made a bold statement about his own ability. The Reds winger joined the club in the summer after leaving Manchester United.
Ahead of this weekend’s trip to Liverpool, Elanga has been quizzed by the Daily Mail. He was asked to choose several different components from a number of players to make the perfect footballer.
Elanga was asked to pick a player to fit the pace criteria. He chose himself after choosing the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Virgil van Dijk and Cristiano Ronaldo for some of the other options.

Everyone loves a confident player. As a result, there is no harm in Elanga choosing himself ahead of several other players in the world who would fancy themselves in a foot race.
Elanga has showcased his blistering pace during his short time at Forest. The player signed from United for £15 million and it’s quite evident that he has pace to burn.
On Saturday he set up two goals for Chris Wood during a 2-2 draw against Luton Town. Elanga is always keen to put defenders on the back foot and ultimately, Forest have got themselves a quality player.

Last season, Brennan Johnson was confirmed as the second-quickest player in the Premier League behind Kyle Walker. Now, he’s gone to Tottenham and Forest have to fill that void.
