Everton appears to be planning to sign £4m Leeds United star player

Everton, West Ham United, and Crystal Palace are all interested in signing Wilfried Gnonto from Leeds United during the summer transfer window, according to The Mirror.

If Palace are unable to persuade Wilfried Zaha to sign a new deal and extend his time at Selhurst Park, they will reportedly make a move for the Italy international winger.

At the end of the month, Zaha will be a free agent.

Brighton and Hove Albion are also interested in Gnonto, who cost Leeds £4 million in transfer fees when they signed him in the summer of 2022.

According to the report, the winger is now worth £30 million.

Leeds United, in our opinion, may have to sell Wilfried Gnonto due to interest from Everton and West Ham United, among other clubs.

Leeds were demoted from the Premier League and will play in the Championship next season.

As a result, the West Yorkshire club is unable to turn down offers for any of their players.

Despite only joining Leeds this summer, Gnonto may be tempted to go now, especially with Palace, Everton, and West Ham all interested in him.

Last season, the 19-year-old earned 14 Premier League starts and 10 substitute appearances for Leeds.

In those games, the winger had two goals and four assists.

Gnonto has also represented Italy 11 times, and participating in the Championship for a year could jeopardize his prospects of playing regularly for his country.

Meanwhile, The Daily Mail reports that after meetings on Friday, Daniel Farke is now the top candidate to become the new Leeds head coach.
