Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou’s side would reportedly have to pay £60 million for Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte.
Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Aymeric Laporte from Premier League rivals Manchester City during the summer transfer season, according to The Mirror.
Last season, City won the Premier League, FA Cup, and UEFA Champions League, and they are eager to transfer the Spain international defense.
According to the report, the Citizens value the 29-year-old £130,000-a-week (SalarySport) center-back at £60 million.

While City may be willing to sell the 29-year-old this summer, the Spain international himself may be hesitant to join Spurs.
After all, the defender is used to winning the Premier League title and participating in the UEFA Champions League at City.
Spurs will not compete in Europe’s top club competition next season and are unlikely to win the Premier League anytime soon.
Now, of course, Laporte is a very good defender who would make Spurs better, but we do not think that a summer transfer would happen.
