Premier League: Building the ultimate Arsenal and Tottenham combined XI, ft. Saka

The North London Derby this weekend between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur is widely anticipated due to both clubs’ great form, making it an interesting match between evenly matched sides.
The article features a combined XI featuring both sides’ finest players, including David Raya, William Saliba, Bukayo Saka, and Martin Odegaard.
Arsenal and Tottenham have had great seasons thus far, with both sides having the same number of wins, losses, draws, and points, indicating a tight competition on Sunday.

While he has only been at Arsenal for a short time, David Raya has quickly established himself as the club’s number one goalkeeper and is now the finest in north London. The Spaniard emerged as a significant talent during his time at Blackburn Rovers and Brentford, and it’s a little strange that it’s taken this long for one of the Premier League’s big boys to take a risk on him. He still faces stiff competition from Aaron Ramsdale, but if his early career at Arsenal is any indication, he’ll remain the club’s primary goalkeeper for the foreseeable future.

Despite being a natural center-back, Ben White has spent the majority of his Arsenal career at right-back, a position he has more than mastered. The Englishman has succeeded in his new role and is now a fixture in Mikel Arteta’s lineup. White’s outstanding form on the right side of the defense coincided with the club’s recovery last year. Pedro Porro has had a solid start to the season for the Spurs, but he’s not quite good enough to beat out White for a berth on this team.

Isn’t William Saliba one of a kind? After several loan periods away from Arsenal, the Frenchman eventually joined the club and broke into the first squad last season, and he hasn’t looked back since. The 22-year-old has been nothing short of spectacular for Arteta’s team, and they certainly benefit from his presence. If the Gunners are to make another step forward this season, Saliba will almost probably play a key role at the back, and there are few better defenders in England right now than him. He even shown his incredible dribbling earlier this week in the Champions League.

Cristian Romero has had a fantastic start to the season after a rocky start in England. Under Ange Postecoglou, the Argentine has finally found his groove and emerged as Tottenham’s best center-back. He has consistently delivered good performances at the heart of the club’s defense. He hasn’t put a foot wrong this year, and if Postecoglou’s amazing start in England continues, he’ll be a big part of it.

Much attention was paid to Gabriel Jesus’ move to Arsenal from Manchester City last year, but Oleksandr Zinchenko’s move to the Emirates from the Citizens has had a greater impact. The Ukrainian has been outstanding on the left side of Arsenal’s defense, displacing Kieran Tierney as the club’s first-choice left-back. Destiny Udogie has been brilliant for Tottenham this season, but Zinchenko’s effect at Arsenal cannot be overlooke
