Leeds United’s next manager wants to be named by the end of the week

With 49ers Enterprises firmly in control of Leeds, subject to EFL approval, the club’s managerial search is in full swing.

Leeds has conducted interviews and is claimed to have whittled down their target list.

The search for a new manager is being led by Nick Hammond and Angus Kinnear, although soon-to-be Leeds chairman Marathe is also in England.

He is involved in conversations with Leeds executives and hopes to learn the identity of the new manager by the end of the week.

Leeds does not want to rush into an appointment, but they also do not want to put it off for too long.

The appointment of a new manager will also spark Leeds’ summer transfer activity.

The club has held discussions with Scott Parker and Daniel Farke, both of whom have experience promoting teams from the Championship.

Patrick Vieira, the former Crystal Palace manager, is also said to be on Leeds’ radar for the manager’s job.

They initially contemplated signing Carlos Corberan, but Leeds have yet to obtain permission from West Brom to speak with him.
