Sad news as Leeds united Star put in down to join Bournemouth this afternoon

Leeds’ transfer business in the coming weeks is going to be largely dictated by who they are able to keep hold of in their squad.

Tyler Adams’ future has been up in the air from the moment Leeds were relegated from the Premier League, and it looks to be the case that he leaves imminently.

Adams to Bournemouth close

After it was reported earlier in the week that Bournemouth intended to trigger Adams’ £20million release clause, it has since become something of a dispute between the two clubs – per The Athletic.

Daniel Farke’s press conference indicated that these release clauses had since expired, meaning Leeds were no longer in a position of obligation to accept the bids that came their way for their players.

However, Sky Sports’ Mark McAdam has now revealed that the two clubs have come to an agreement with the USMNT star heading to the South Coast as we speak to complete a move:

He’s deserving of a Premier League move this summer and the Cherries is a very exciting project that will get even more out of him.

How much we get from this deal remains to be seen but it’s going to be at least £20million, which is what we need to reinvest.
