Gary Lineker has recently advised Tottenham Hotspur to recruit Brighton and Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson this summer to replace Harry Kane.
Spurs confirmed this morning that their great striker has joined Bayern Munich. He will be sorely missed, and Ange Postecoglou will have to fill his shoes.
On X/Twitter, Lineker just presented a fantastic possibility for Tottenham.

Tottenham Hotspur had already been connected with a bid for Evan Ferguson, and Lineker has now backed it up once more.
When he has played for Brighton, the 18-year-old has been fantastic. He appears to be the ideal striker, and his youth ensures that he will only improve in the coming years.
Tottenham must now find a long-term successor for Kane. It’s simply not worth it to sign someone like Romelu Lukaku right now.
After watching Brighton defeat Luton Town this afternoon, Lineker believes Ferguson would be an excellent replacement for Kane at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
“Evan Ferguson scores in Fergie time,” he tweeted. He’s a natural goal scorer.
“If I was in charge of recruitment at @SpursOfficial, I’d take a chance on him to replace Kane.” Please accept my apologies to the fans of @OfficialBHAFC.”
Evan Ferguson is the ideal young centre-forward for Tottenham, possessing all of the skills required in a striker.
We don’t know how Brighton finds these young players, but the Irishman is another one who will be worth a fortune one day.
Roberto De Zerbi would clearly like to keep him, but if Tottenham come in with a big offer, there’s a chance they’ll unwillingly let him leave.
Ferguson, in our opinion, would be fantastic for Tottenham.
