Deal Wrexham manager confirms bid for striker has been made amid this summer

That striker is rumored to be Posh’s Kabongo Tshimanga, who only recently joined the club on a permanent basis.

A figure of £500,000 has been floated online, but Posh has declined to comment.

The Red Dragons are rumored to be looking for a striker following a pre-season challenge by Manchester United’s Nathan Bishop that left star player Paul Mullin with a collapsed lung and four shattered ribs.

Mullin was obliged to return to the United States as a result of his injuries and is thought to have been staying at the home of Wrexham co-owner Rob McElhenney.

He has now been given the all-clear to return home, albeit he will remain out for some time.

“I am looking forward to getting Paul back in the building,” Parkinson told the Wrexham Leader.

“He’ll go see a specialist over here, and then we’ll know how long he’ll be out.”

“Obviously, we’re looking with Paul out injured.

“We have a bid, possibly two, on the table, but the answers come from within as well.”

Tshimanga made his debut start for Posh in the EFL Cup against Swindon on Tuesday night, having arriving on loan with an option to buy in January.

He was sent off at halftime, with Posh leading 1-0.

Tshimanga hasn’t scored for Posh in ten games (nine of which have come off the bench), although he was a regular in the National League with Chesterfield before suffering a catastrophic injury.
