According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Kolo Muani is emerging as a key Tottenham target.
Tavolieri adds that Tottenham’s interest is ‘great’ and that Kolo Muani is eager to come to North London.
ENIC has granted the go-ahead to sell Kane this summer, as he reaches the final year of his contract.
Bayern Munich are very interested in signing Kane and, should he leave, Kolo Muani is wanted as a replacement.
Frankfurt are seeking a huge deal worth around €80million (£69million) for Kolo Muani, meaning Tottenham would need to dig deep.
In fact, that would be a club-record deal, far eclipsing the deal struck for Tanguy Ndombele in 2019.
Randal Kolo Muani was desired by Tottenham for free.
What’s intriguing is that Tottenham have previously been associated with Kolo Muani.
Tottenham were interested in signing Kolo Muani, according to Foot Mercato in October 2021.
Then, with Nantes, Kolo Muani’s contract was coming to an end, and Spurs were interested.
According to the report, Fabio Paratici spoke with Kolo Muani’s advisors to negotiate a move to Spurs.
Kolo Muani chose Eintracht Frankfurt instead, and the decision has certainly paid off.
Last season, the 24-year-old scored 23 goals and assisted 17 times in 46 games for Frankfurt.
Kolo Muani, who can play up front or out wide, is a menace across the front line and might lead Tottenham into a post-Kane era.
It will be painful to spend £69 million for a player who Tottenham wanted for free last summer, but Kolo Muani might be a tremendous addition for Spurs.
