Tyler Adams, a Leeds United midfielder, has chosen his “favorite place” to play football after being linked with a move to Newcastle United.
Before signing top target Sandro Tonali, Adams was on Newcastle’s ‘longer list’ of midfield transfer targets. However, the 24-year-old remains on the club’s radar following Leeds’ relegation to the Championship and the possibility of a low-cost transfer or loan.
His versatility in playing on the right side of midfield or in defense is also appealing to The Magpies.
Adams joined Leeds from RB Leipzig last summer for a reported £20m and went on to make 24 Premier League appearances before having his season cut short due to a thigh injury.
And the United States international has spoken very highly of the club and St James’ Park in particular having played there for Leeds in the 0-0 draw on New Year’s Eve last season.
“They’re doing things correctly, and I believe they’ve realized that ‘our team is good, and the Champions League is in our sights.'”

Adams left Leipzig to play in the Premier League instead of the Champions League. However, following Leeds’ relegation to the Championship, he could be on the move this summer.
