26-years old Tottenham player caught Ange Postecoglou’s attention with his amazing goal

Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison has scored an incredible goal in training as the club’s pre-season tour in Australia begins.

Tottenham uploaded a video on their YouTube account of the group arriving in Australia.

Ange Postecoglou, the club’s new manager, has just a few weeks until the Premier League season begins.

He’s given many players a second chance to impress this summer after loaning them out.

Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso, and Sergio Reguilon have been reintegrated into the squad for the time being.

Another player looking to make a good first impression is Richarlison.

The 26-year-old arrived for big money last summer but struggled to live up to expectations.

He picked up more bookings for celebrating disallowed goals than he actually scored league goals.

However, Richarlison showed he knows where the goal is in training with a fantastic finish.

He gave new goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario no chance in their small-sided game.

In the clip shared on Tottenham’s YouTube, Eric Dier floats a ball into the six-yard box and Richarlison watches it over his shoulder and scores an impressive scissor kick past Guglielmo Vicario.

In the background, someone can be heard shouting ‘Vamos’ after the Brazilian’s brilliant goal.

Richarlison has to have a better season this year after trying to make an impression in his debut year at Tottenham.

Ange Postecoglou prefers an attacking 4-3-3 with a floater in the center of the box.

Harry Kane will be his starting striker for the foreseeable future, but Richarlison may be a better fit for the role.

He could be charged with replacing England’s all-time leading scorer if he leaves, albeit that is unlikely.

Richarlison will be hopeful that Postecoglou noticed his spectacular training ground goal yesterday.

Unless he can play to his full ability in pre-season, he will most likely have to prove himself from the bench when the season begins.
