According to Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has struck a personal “agreement” to join Bayern Munich and will not be tempted by any other club.

Spurs face the definite chance of losing their talismanic forward in the coming year, either this summer or next, depending on events.

The situation is now even more precarious, and given Kane’s desire to win trophies, it has been stated that German heavyweights Bayern Munich are attempting to entice him to join them in the Bundesliga.

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou recently stated to the press that he has got no promises on Kane’s future at N17.

“No, I haven’t had any assurances [about Kane’s future], and I wouldn’t expect any because you never deal in definites or certainties with these kinds of things,” Postecoglou said.

“I’m trying to focus on what I know right now, and what I know right now is that Harry is a member of this squad.” He’s looking forward to returning to training, getting back among the players, and getting back to work.”

Sky reporter Plettenberg has some news on Kane’s future on Twitter, with Kane supposedly reaching a Bayern “agreement” behind the scenes.

The England star is reportedly “convinced” that he can win the Champions League in Bavaria with former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel.

“As previously reported, Harry Kane has stated unequivocally that he wishes to join FC Bayern,” Plettenberg added.

“He has no plans to join another club abroad.” Kane and Bayern have reached an agreement.

“Kane believes he can win the Champions League with Bayern and Tuchel.”

What have others said about Harry Kane?

Former Leyton Orient loanee has smashed both Jimmy Greaves’ all-time Tottenham goal-scoring record and Wayne Rooney’s previous greatest haul for England.

Kane is without a doubt Tottenham’s most important asset, and losing him would be devastating.

“I am happy for him because we are talking about a world-class striker,” former Tottenham manager Antonio Conte said of Kane.

“He deserves the best because he’s a great worker, a hard worker… this is unusual because most talented players don’t like to work hard because they’re talented.”

“I didn’t have a lot of talent in my career, so I worked really hard.” His skill was something I saw about him right away. He set a great example for his teammates.

“When you see him work in this manner, you will undoubtedly be inspired to continue working, to work very hard.” As a result, I’d like to thank him because he is always a shining example in everything.”
