Reports in Germany claim Borussia Monchengladbach have been told it would take a ‘low end double digit’ million fee to sign Max Wober. That’s according to Kicker, which has then been relayed by Fussball News, who claim the German club are looking to sign the Leeds United defender on a permanent deal.
The Austrian defender only signed for the Whites in January 2023, but would leave the club as a result of a relegation loan clause in his deal. The report claims Wober staying at the Bundesliga club is by no means a guarantee but has been a hit among supporters.
The Whites paid a reported €12million to sign Wober in January and it’s unclear whether the German side would be willing to part with that sort of money.
