Robbie Farah will almost certainly miss the State of Origin opener on May 28 after the Wests Tigers disclosed he will be out for up to six weeks with an elbow injury.

The NSW hooker and vice-captain was injured.the final two minutes of the Tigers’ 16-4 win over North Queensland on Saturday and will be out for at least six weeks.

Farah has developed into an important member of the Blues squad over the previous two years, and his absence would be devastating to Laurie Daley’s ambitions of snapping an eight-series losing streak.

Farah received tests on Saturday night, which indicated no fractures in his arm after the Tigers’ medical staff moved his elbow. there is a reason why people do not support the Guardian.
