‘Perfect for me,’ says the author. The 21-year-old is overjoyed to have joined Nottingham Forest.

Nottingham Forest winger Anthony Elanga has expressed his joy at being a part of the club. During the summer transfer window, the player swapped Manchester United for the City Ground in a £15 million deal.

The Sweden international is currently on national team duty. He came off the bench as a substitute against Moldova last week, helping Sweden to a 3-1 victory.

Tonight, Elanga will be hoping for more playing time for his country. He will face his Forest teammate Orel Mangala, and the Swedes could use a win in their quest to qualify for Euro 2024.

Elanga is overjoyed to be at Forest.

The Swedes are eager to watch how Elanga performs at the club after joining from Manchester United. He was questioned by Fotbollskanalen last week about his summer departure from Old Trafford.

Elanga has stated that he is now content at Forest and claims to have spoken with Steve Cooper prior to the move. “It’s been perfect,” he said. I spoke with the leaders before coming here. I understand what the leaders want and how to play the game. Everything about the project and its surroundings is ideal for me. We have only played eight games so far this season. We’ve won a few games, and I’ve scored goals and assisted on others. So I can’t complain about the season’s start.

“Now it’s just a matter of keeping up the good work.” The difference isn’t that significant. We started the league well, winning some games, drawing some, and losing some. However, it is a good team, a nice city, and a decent group of players. The season is long, and hopefully we will have a successful season.”

Elanga has the potential to prosper at City Ground.

Regular game time is clearly the reason why Elanga chose to leave United. He should see more minutes during his time at Forest, although he has started just two games so far this season in the Premier League.

But his time will come. Elanga has raw pace, is direct, and appears capable of contributing both goals and assists throughout the course of the 2023/24 season.

Elanga seemed to be an appropriate character to have in the Forest dressing room. Furthermore, having been declared surplus to requirements at United, he will arrive at Forest with a point to prove.
