Wolverhampton Wanderers endured a busy deadline day as manager Gary O’Neil put the last touches on his first Wolves squad with some incoming and outgoing transfers.
The Old Gold gave O’Neil the reigns just days before the start of the Premier League season. Results were underwhelming at first as Wolves started their term with back-to-back defeats to Manchester United and Brighton. But the Molineux natives have started to find their feet.
Sasa Kalajdzic finally opened his Wolves account to beat Everton 1-0 after missing his debut season with an ACL injury. The striker is now just like a new signing to Wolves and O’Neil will hope his goals keep the club in the Premier League. Wolves had the worst attack last term.
O’Neil took over Wolves after Julen Lopetegui left owing to their lack of signings throughout the transfer window. The Molineux natives also bid farewell to Ruben Neves, Nathan Collins, Raul Jimenez and Joao Moutinho this summer. Adama Traore also left them as a free agent.
Wolves remained diligent in the market on deadline day to improve O’Neil’s side with some late incoming and outgoing transfers. So, with that in mind, here is every deal the Old Gold signed off on before the window slammed shut to Premier League teams this Friday night…
