Wolves have reportedly reached an agreement with Jean-Ricner Bellegarde for him to sign from French club Strasbourg.
The midfielder has been a target for the club in recent days, along with his teammate Habib Diarra.
Wolves have also been linked with a move for Harrison Reed.
But at the moment there appears to be a gap in valuation between Wolves and Fulham.
But a potentially exciting update has just dropped regarding Bellegarde…
Wolves reach agreement with Jean-Ricner Bellegarde
Journalist Santi Aouna has reported this morning that Wolves have now reached an agreement with Bellegarde.
He says on Twitter: “Agreement reached between Wolverhampton and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde. The player wants to leave and will not extend to the RCSA. Negotiations in progress with Strasbourg to try to find an agreement.”
Now, it is on the two clubs to reach an agreement for his transfer.
As yet, there has been no word on what kind of valuation Strasbourg have placed on Bellegarde.
But the idea he has agreed terms to join Wolves is good as it potentially puts pressure on the French club to accept a slightly lower fee.
The idea he apparently wants out also bodes very well for Wolves.
It now remains to be seen if Wolves can make a satisfactory transfer offer for the 25-year-old.
