The transfer window has been extremely active in recent days.
Alan Shearer is overjoyed that Harry Kane has departed the Premier League.Chelsea and Liverpool appear to be in a transfer war over Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.
It’s all starting!
Newcastle United is another option.
While the team is not currently involved in any major transfers, Eddie Howe has already revealed that the club is still looking for one more signing.
Tyler Adams of Leeds United has been mentioned.
The American international, who appeared to be on his way to Chelsea, might be back on the market.
Leading Premier League clubs are interested in Tyler Adams.
The Telegraph reported earlier this summer that Adams was a prospective signing being explored behind closed doors at St James’ Park.
According to The Athletic, several Premier League clubs are ready to move as a result of recent developments.
Adams, who was dubbed “incredible” during his tenure at Leeds, is thought to have a £20 million release clause in his contract at Elland Road.
Now that his deal to Chelsea has fallen through, others may enter the contest.
Could be an opportunistic addition.
While defenders look to feature prominently on the agenda for Newcastle at the moment, they have already been opportunistic before.
Though midfield is clearly not a priority following the arrival of Sandro Tonali and the rise of Lewis Miley, Newcastle has a history of changing plans.
They did not enter the market looking for a right-back, but instead went for Tino Livramento when he became available.
It would not be surprising to see an international midfielder go with a relatively low release clause and who appears to be liked by the recruitment department.
Certainly one to keep an eye on during the remainder of the window.
