Leeds United are apparently looking into defender Aurele Amenda as they look for a replacement for the rumored to be departing Max Wober.
Despite only joining Elland Road in January, Wober is reportedly close to joining German club Borussia Monchengladbach on a season-long loan.
According to Mail Plus, Leeds are interested in Amenda as they strive to strengthen their defensive ranks. The 19-year-old is currently under contract with BSC Young Boys, the reigning Swiss Super League winners, and represents Switzerland at the under-21 level.
If Leeds were to sign him, he would be the second young Swiss defender to join the club in the last year, following Diogo Monteiro.
Despite his youth, Amenda is an intimidating figure at 6ft 4ins, which may appeal to Leeds after the departures of Rasmus Kristensen and Robin Koch.
