Postecoglou willing to sell £42m Spurs massive defender as two Permier League clubs interested

Tottenham Hotspur have offered Davinson Sanchez permission to speak with Spartak Moscow and Strasbourg as he looks to leave the club.

Davinson Sanchez believed to be on the verge of leaving Tottenham Hotspur after conversations with two teams.

According to 90Min, Tottenham has given the go-ahead for Sanchez’s prospective departure.

According to reports, Russian club Spartak Moscow and Ligue 1 club Strasbourg are both in talks to capture Sanchez this summer.

German clubs are also rumored to be interested in signing Sanchez, with Tottenham content to let him go.

Davinson Sanchez must depart Tottenham Hotspur.

Sanchez was a significant signing for Tottenham in the summer of 2017.

The Colombian center back had performed admirably for Ajax, helping them reach the Europa League final.

Spurs paid £42 million to lure Sanchez to North London, setting a club record at the time.

Sanchez made a good start for Spurs, generally playing in a back three with the more experienced Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen.

However, the 27-year-old appears to have lost confidence in recent years and hasn’t looked convincing in a Spurs shirt for some time.

This doesn’t excuse the booing Sanchez suffered against Bournemouth in April, but it’s time for Sanchez and Spurs to go their separate ways.

Sanchez just isn’t going to play a key role under Ange Postecoglou and needs to get out and play first-team football to get his career back on track.

Todd Boehly’s next team may sign Sanchez.

Sanchez would report to Patrick Vieira, who was just named as the club’s new manager, if he relocates to Strasbourg.

BlueCo, the partnership managed by Todd Boehly, has taken over Strasbourg, ushering in a new era.

That means Strasbourg has become a Chelsea partner club, and we may expect certain Blues players to go on loan to France.

However, more experience may be required, and Sanchez may be viewed as a player who can help Strasbourg progress.

It won’t be easy to beat Spartak, but Boehly has a tendency for getting his man – and Sanchez could be next.
