Tottenham release list of three players Elland Road are interested in signing this summer

Leeds United are ready to install Gretar Steinsson as a major figure in the club’s recruitment department, according to Phil Hay, and here are three players he could sign from Tottenham Hotspur.

Steinsson is leaving Spurs, as he was supposed to do this summer. He has accepted an offer from Leeds to join the club in a crucial position as the club restructures that area following the departure of Victor Orta. Who from the Spurs could he bring?

Leeds are expected to employ Steinsson, who could sign three Tottenham players.

Joe Rodon

Joe Rodon - Player profile 23/24 | Transfermarkt

Rodon returns to Spurs this summer after a loan spell with Ligue 1 club Rennes. While top-flight clubs are expected to be interested in Wales’ star, why not join Wales colleagues Ethan Ampadu and Dan James at Elland Road?

Leeds need a right-footed central defender, and the centre-back has Championship experience with Swansea. Ampadu is expected to sign, but he will most likely be brought in as a midfielder.Rodon would be a good buy for £15 million.

Harvey White

Harvey White - Player profile | Transfermarkt

Spurs have made left-footed midfielder White, 21, wait. He has played 66 times for the 21s, and has also been on loan to Portsmouth and Derby, where he played 15 times in the second half of the 22-23 season.

If you had to pick two areas for Leeds to upgrade this summer, it would be depth in central midfield and a new left-back. White may not start, but he is a hidden gem with enormous potential. His contract expires in 2024. No-brainer.

Alfie Devine (loan)

Tottenham: Alfie Devine signs new Spurs contract - BBC Sport

Brenden Aaronson has left the club on loan to join Union Berlin, leaving Leeds short of a number ten. Daniel Farke prefers a 4-2-3-1 formation, which Sam Greenwood started against Manchester United. He’s a good stand-in.

Leeds, though, requires more than just Greenwood. Bringing in a guy with Devine’s determination, work rate, and form for Spurs’ U21 side makes sense. Joe Gelhardt’s ex-Wigan academy comrades would benefit much from a loan.
