Football is a rapidly growing sector in Saudi Arabia as a result of government support, and many European stars have relocated to the kingdom, the most recent being Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
Newcastle have offered Napoli roughly €95 million for Kvaratskhelia, according to Saudi outlet WinWinAllSports through TMW, and are currently waiting for a response.
It’s difficult to envisage Partenopei president Aurelio De Laurentiis accepting this, especially as the club is negotiating on a new long-term contract for the Georgian winger.
Kvaratskhelia shone in his debut season in Serie A, scoring 12 goals and giving 13 assists in 34 league games, helping the club win the Scudetto.
