Newcastle United could sell Allan Saint-Maximin for £40 million this summer, with Al-Ahli planning a move for the Frenchman during the transfer window.
According to a rumor in the Sunday Mirror (9/7; page 72), the winger could get a contract for £300,000 per year in Saudi Arabia.
Allan Saint-Maximin is the most high-profile player that could depart Newcastle in this transfer window. Despite being the only dynamic player in the Magpies’ ranks for some time in recent years, the 26-year-old has struggled since Eddie Howe arrived.
Saint-Maximin wanted at Al-Ahli
At times, he practically carried the team. Newcastle, on the other hand, has risen to a higher level in the last 18 months. They will play in the Champions League the following season.
And they didn’t need Saint-Maximin to be the star of that side. As a result, his departure could occur throughout this time frame.
