Newcastle United will not even pay half of Southampton’s £50 million asking price for Tino Livramento, according to transfer source Dean Jones.
The defender is rumoured to be a target for the Magpies this summer, but Jones insists the club will not spend big money on a right-back.
The Telegraph claimed last month that Newcastle were in advanced talks with Southampton about a potential £15 million transfer for Livramento.
However, the Saints look to want substantially more than that due to a sell-on clause inserted by Chelsea when they sold the 20-year-old to them in 2021.
