The Nigerian forward plans to leave Nottingham Forest this summer but wants to stay in Europe.

According to The Athletic UK, the 25-year-old’s representation have begun the process of holding exploratory conversations in order to locate other clubs interested in the versatile forward and finalise any prospective agreements before the start of the new season in August.

The Nigeria international is said to be open to the possibility of leaving if the proper chance arises.

Nottingham Forest, on the other hand, have not received an official bid for the striker but are understood to be open to conversations about a possible exit, with more talks between representation and the club said to be in the works in the near future. The player is simply interested in remaining in Europe; he does not wish to leave Europe.

Dennis’ current contract runs until June 2026, after he was signed on a four-year contract from Watford last summer for an estimated fee of fifteen million pounds, and in only nineteen Premier League appearances for the club, he scored two important goals and set up another two towards the end of the season, coming in clutch along with his countryman and teammate, Taiwo Awoniyi, who scored ten goals to ensure Nottingham Forest’s stay in the Premier League for another season.
