Tottenham in negotiation with PSG for Brazilian speed winger from Porto

Tottenham Hotspur are battling Porto for the signing of winger Pepê, according to Portuguese media.

Today’s edition of A Bola includes an article suggesting Spurs and Paris Saint-Germain are presently ‘attacking’ the 26-year-old.

Tottenham are rumoured to have made a proposal for the Porto star, but it is’still far’ from what the Dragons are asking for the player.

PSG, on the other hand, has merely stated that they are willing to sign Pepê, seeing him as a potential successor for Neymar.

According to A Bola, Porto president Pinto da Costa and the rest of the board are aware of Tottenham’s efforts and are requesting the player’s €75 million release clause.

The story doesn’t specify how much Spurs have put on the table or if they’ve shown any signs of being able to meet Porto’s demands.

We must tell out that some front pages in Portugal today discuss Porto manager Sérgio Conceiço possibly departing for PSG this summer. If he does leave, it would not be surprising if he brought Pepê with him.
