Tottenham is interested in Jadon Sancho but Manchester United will demand around £60 million to trade him

Tottenham are interested in Manchester United sensation Jadon Sancho, who has been in and out of the club this season.

According to rumors, Manchester United will demand close to £60 million to contemplate selling Jadon Sancho during the summer transfer window. Since joining from Borussia Dortmund two years ago, the England international has struggled. And, with Erik ten Hag still undecided, the 23-year-old might be on his way out, with Tottenham showing interest.

Sancho struggled for United last season, contributing only 10 goals in 41 games and spending four months in the Netherlands.

According to The Mirror, Tottenham are reportedly mulling a £50 million bid for the 23-year-old as the summer transfer window approaches.

Sancho failed to reach the heights many expected when he returned from his exile, and he toiled in last weekend’s FA Cup final defeat to Manchester City.

According to the report, competing clubs are keeping an eye on Sancho while his future at Old Trafford remains unknown.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing England international Ange Postecoglou.

Tottenham is already in negotiations with Leicester about signing James Maddison.

They are willing to pay £40 million to sign the playmaker, who is expected to lead an exodus from the King Power Stadium.

Spurs value Sancho at roughly £50 million, but they’ll need to go much higher to get United to sell.

During his stint as manager of the Red Devils, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sanctioned a huge £73 million signing for the winger.

And, at this point, United would require ‘near to £60m’ to even consider a departure.

Dortmund, like Tottenham, is keeping an eye on Sancho’s condition.

However, while the Bundesliga giants are open to the England forward returning to Germany, they are only interested in a loan deal.

Should Tottenham pursue Sancho, it will be interesting to see what happens with Harry Kane.

The Red Devils could make a cash and Sancho offer to sign the England international.

Tottenham, on the other hand, would prefer to trade their star abroad, with Real Madrid another interested party.

United have a strained relationship with their Premier League opponents, having failed to sign a single Tottenham player since Dimitar Berbatov in 2008.

In the years afterwards, the Red Devils have been refused moves by the likes of Luka Modric, Gareth Bale, Toby Alderweireld, and Eric Dier.

United is also keeping an eye on potential Kane replacements, such Victor Osimhen and Rasmus Hojlund.

Meanwhile, Ten Hag pledged last weekend to fight for his ideals as he attempts to bolster his squad this summer.

“I have only one plan, and that is to improve this club, this team,” the 53-year-old stated.

“I intend to fight for my ideas.” I’ll talk to the club about what we need to do.

“However, I need to work with my staff and my players to improve for next season.”

Mason Mount and Jeremie Frimpong are also on the club’s radar.
