Tottenham to sign €50m attacking midfielder in world cup 5 times better than Busquets

Tottenham Hotspur are rekindling their interest in Sofyan Amrabat, according to reports.

Spurs have a long history with the Moroccan international.

Tottenham are apparently considering bringing him back as the transfer deadline approaches.

Spurs are’seeking to surpass the opponents’ in the race for the Fiorentina star, according to Foot Mercato.

Tottenham will face Barcelona, who are said to be the frontrunners for Amrabat’s services.

Xavi is alleged to have discussed the 26-year-old as a possible replacement for Sergio Busquets.

However, due to Barcelona’s continuous financial woes, a deal for Amrabat is not as straightforward as they would want.

With all of this in mind, Tottenham may be confident about delivering a long-term goal to N17.

In addition, the Spurs might not have to pay a significant amount for Amrabat.

Fiorentina are reportedly seeking €25-30 million (about £22-26 million) for their midfielder.

‘Extremely impressive.’

Although Tottenham and Amrabat have been linked for some time, this summer could be a good opportunity for him to leave.

Spurs are in desperate need of reinforcements after finishing seventh last season.

Meanwhile, Amrabat is in his prime and has performed admirably for club and country.

In December, he led Fiorentina to the Europa Conference League final and Morocco to the World Cup semi-finals.

Indeed, Football Transfers declared him the “World Cup’s best midfielder,” and there was a compelling case to be made.

They went on to say that “Amrabat has been arguably the best central midfielder at the 2022 World Cup.”

‘And a key player for a Moroccan team that has shocked everyone by reaching the semi-finals.

‘He put in world-class performances in victories over Belgium in the groups, Spain in the last-16, and Portugal in the quarter-finals.

‘His partnership with another rising star, Azzedine Ounahi, has been breathtaking.’

There have also been comparisons suggested between Amrabat and Busquets, including one made ten years ago by Football Talent Scout.

Overall, Amrabat seems like a nice fit for the Spurs.
