Deal On: Nottingham Forest set to raid rivals to sign electrifying striker

According to NottinghamshireLive, Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Southampton striker Che Adams.

Forest were linked with the Leicester-born forward last year and are set to make a summer bid for him, according to talkSPORT. Head coach Steve Cooper is still a “big admirer” of the Scotland international, according to sources.

Adams has five goals and three assists in 28 Premier League games this season, after scoring seven in 30 the previous year. Despite not scoring many goals, he is an essential player to have in the forward line.

Adams has been one of Southampton’s few bright spots this season, therefore he’ll be pursued by other clubs. It is unclear whether other parties will follow suit.

Steve Cooper will be aiming to add strikers to his roster this summer. Taiwo Awoniyi, Sam Surridge, Emmanuel Dennis, and Andre Ayew are the squad’s strikers. This summer, Ayew’s contract will expire.
