nottingham forest sent a heart-touching message to all fans as they went deeply in tears

Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Keylor Navas has made a decision on his future. The goalkeeper will return to PSG after his loan period ends, but he is ready to return to England.

According to Foot Mercato, the player has grown fond of England. He is not anticipated to return to Forest for a second tenure, however.

Navas joined Forest on loan just hours before the January transfer window closed. He was called up to fill in for Dean Henderson, who sustained a season-ending thigh injury.

The 36-year-old has three Champions League championships to his name. As a result, at least on paper, the signature looked to be lawful.

Navas did not disappoint. He only has two clean sheets.

The veteran with nearly 100 Costa Rican caps does not appear to want to stay with Forest. He feels he can still play for a major club and expects to get numerous offers from around the world.

The Reds’ main priority for the position between the posts will be Dean Henderson. They may have wanted to sign Navas as well throughout the offseason.

Steve Cooper enjoys working with two seasoned goalkeepers. It’s impossible to find a goalkeeper with greater experience than Navas.

Navas has taken a lot of flak this season. However, on his day, he has come up trumps for Forest, supporting them in securing enough points to ensure their safety.

This summer, the Reds will likely require a goalkeeper.

  1. Can’t understand all the fuss, being at Real during Ronaldo’s heyday and with three Ballon d’Or winners plus a great squad winning Cups was a given, no need for a Top 5 goalie here as Navas was clearly not. As a matter of fact FourFourTwo has consistently left him out of their World’s Best Goalkeeper rankings over the last decade, having only included him a couple of times. The man has great agility but that’s not enough, there are shortcomings and butterfingers too which is likely the reason why the magazine has omitted him from their world’s best keeper rankings.

Don’t get carried away. Any keeper worth his salt would’ve won that silverware too. And as far as that third Champions League Cup with Karius throwing the match, hmm pretty suspicious and I know I’m not alone here. They say £ï15 M for both him and the ref did the job… What say ye?
